ppAnna Bassi is Associate Professor of Politics at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Prior to joining UNC, she studied Economics at Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies where she received her PhD degree in 2006. Furthermore, she studiedĀ Politics at New York University, where she obtained her second PhD in 2010. Her research interests lie at the intersection of Economics and Political Science and are in the areas of Formal Theory and Experimental Methods, with applications on Comparative Politics and Voting. She is married to Riccardo Colacito, also a Professor at UNC, and they have a beautiful boy, Leonardo.
